Kids Ministry
At Incarnation
Jesus invited children to come to him, and he taught his followers to believe like children (Mark 10:13-16). Children have profound inherent value, and possess an essential perspective. Their care and nurture is a most worthy lifelong calling. At Incarnation we see children as whole persons, full participants in the life of the church, and leaders in worship from the earliest age.
On Sunday during kids ministry, we welcome all of the energy, dreams, questions, and creativity that our children have. We pray that as God truly meets them, they will find a lifelong home in Jesus and his Church.

AGE GROUPS
Nursery: Ages 0-3
Preschool: Ages 3-5
Elementary: Kindergarten-5th grade
What to Expect
Here's what a Sunday morning with children looks like at Incarnation. Our age-appropriate order of worship is built with similar liturgical elements as the adult service. It’s more than just childcare - children will worship, hear from God’s Word, pray together, and learn what it means to follow Jesus.
Note: To care for our volunteers who invest so much in our kids, we will only offer nursery care (0-3) this summer. Preschool and Elementary classrooms will open again in the fall!

KIDS MINISTRY SEND-OFF
Kids ages 3 - 5th grade join the adults for the opening songs of worship. Before the sermon, they are sent out with a blessing and guided to their classrooms by their shepherds.
PICK-UP
After the sermon, during what we call the "Peace", parents pick up children from the nursery, and preschool & elementary kids return to the sanctuary with their shepherds. The children join the adults for the rest of the service, including communion.

What if my kids are noisy?
We love and value that our children participate in worship and communion at the end of the service,
and we're not threatened by their wiggles, noises, and messiness. Jesus said "Let the children come" and we hope our culture reflects his heart.
